Dear Community Partners,
We’re excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 I Am London campaign! This year, we’re celebrating a theme close to many of our hearts: people who came to London temporarily but chose to make it their permanent home.
Who We’re Looking For:
Someone from your community who initially arrived in London as a student, temporary worker, or without planning to stay long-term, but then made the meaningful decision to call London home. Maybe they came for university and stayed to start a business. Perhaps they arrived on a work permit and decided to put down roots. We want to hear these stories of choice and commitment to our city. Why This Matters: These stories demonstrate that London isn’t just a place people end up; it’s a place people actively choose. When temporary residents decide to stay, they’re making a statement about what our city offers and contributes to the community in return.
